A fantastic afternoon with Y5 & 6 at their VE Day party to end their learning project. The children talked enthusiastically about their learning. Thank you to our friends at the British Legion, the PCSOs and the parents who joined us. Thank you to the staff who provided the catering and decorated the hall to make it a special event for our children. An afternoon we will all remember. 😊 #everychildisinspiredtoshineÂ
Celebration time again! We are proud to announce we have been awarded the Quality Mark Early Years Award. The assessor said, 'It was a pleasure to visit such a positive learning environment, where committed staff constantly seek and evaluate new ways to support their pupils’ learning and improve their life chances, despite the challenges they face. The Early Years Quality Mark Award is well-deserved. Well done everyone!'
We are proud to announce we have received the Quality Mark Primary Award. The assessor said, 'This is a warm welcoming school, reflected in the calm, happy manner children come into their learning environment. Children are polite, respectful and enthusiastic because the staff treat them politely, respectfully and enthusiastically. It was a pleasure to carry out the Primary Quality Mark initial assessment at Ferham Primary and the award is well- deserved. Well done everyone!'
We are proud to announce we have been awarded the GOLD Anti-bullying Award. We are looking forward to the presentation event in November. Well done everyone!
So proud of our e-safety cadets. They confidently delivered their presentation about their role in school to the audience at the Emotional Health and Well Being Celebration Event as we received our Silver Good Practice Award. Well done 😊 (they also enjoyed the tasty biscuits and treats). #everychildisinspiredtoshineÂ
Please go and visit the Picture This exhibition at Magna and see our children’s work on display. It is amazing! The exhibition is free to visit and is on display until next week. #everychildisinspiredtoshineÂ
Our Chair of Governors, Mr Bull, came and did a talk about Neolithic people on our prehistoric family learning day. It was really interesting and informative. We learnt so much.
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic day on our prehistoric family learning day. We made clay bowls and jewellery, we wove baskets and made fishing nets. We even did cave paintings and made bows and arrows. All our lovely work has gone into creating a fantastic prehistoric shelter. Thank you to all the parents and carers who came. We really appreciate your help and support.
