I would like to remind you about the project that is being run across Rotherham. It is called Operation Encompass.
Operation Encompass has been designed to provide early reporting on any domestic violence incidents that occur outside of school and might have an impact on a child in school.
School will be informed of any domestic violence that has happened overnight.
The designated member of school staff will use the information that has been shared, in confidence, while ensuring that the school is able to make provision for possible difficulties experienced by children, or their families, who have been involved in or witnessed a domestic violence incident.
We are keen to offer the best support possible for our pupils and we believe this is going to be extremely beneficial for all those involved.

If your child wishes to fast while at school we need written consent from parents. Some children are choosing not to eat or drink without their parents consent. Consent forms can be obtained from the school office or from your child classroom.
It is vital that we have current and up to date contact numbers for all children. Can you please inform the school office if you change your number. Please make sure you provide us with at least 2 possible contacts.
