Year 1/2 Home Learning 6th April
We hope you are all well and keeping safe, staying indoors with your families. And we hope you had fun doing your home learning tasks from last week. Here are a few things for you think about with your families this week…
Can you make a collage of a rainbow to stick in your window – you can use any materials you have around the house, for example, old magazines, newspapers, catalogues that you can cut up and stick together. If you haven’t got anything to cut up – can you draw a rainbow? Stick it in your window to share happiness with the people on your street.
Can you find objects in your house to measure and then order them from the smallest to the longest or from the smallest to the tallest? If you have a ruler at home, can you measure the objects using the ruler? Remember to record your measurements in centimetres (cm).
Write a short diary entry (two or more sentences) about what you have been doing at home with your families. We are making history right now.
Also, we have attached an ‘Indoor Scavenger Hunt’ for you to have fun completing in your home. I wonder how many things you can find on the list in your home. Take photos and share with us on class dojo!
Lots of love, Miss Montgomery, Miss Willis and Mrs Scott. x
