Year 3/4 home learning 1st June
Updated: Jun 10, 2020
Hello Class 3 and 4,
I hope you are keeping safe and well. I am so impressed and proud to see some of the home learning you have been doing. It’s amazing to see all the creative ideas you have had, including making little gardens, building rockets, making bug boxes and even planting trees in your garden! Wow! Keep it up! Most importantly though, I hope you have had a wonderful holiday and spent the week doing WHAT YOU LIKE DOING BEST!
Have a go this maths lesson from BBC bitesize. Remember we talked about tenths just before school closed. Can you remember?! Here’s a good reminder. These are interactive lessons that can be accessed by phone, tablet or computer https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zmcny9q
Complete this lesson and the activities identifying verbs https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zh4thbk
Can you find all the adjectives in the text below?
Yesterday, I walked through the busy town, darting quickly around the fast cars on the busy road. When I got to the bottom of the road, I found a scary, dark looking house. Who lived there? Was it haunted?
4. Can you make a book of the scary story you wrote last week? Don't forget to include some scary illustrations.
We miss you,
Miss Todd, Mr Goulding, Miss Southall and Mrs Booth XXXX
