Year 3/4 Home Learning 4th May

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are safe and well and you've been able to get out for a walk in spite of all the rain we've had!  Here are some ideas for some home learning you could do this week.

  1. Did you write up your food diary last week? Can you reread it and check if you had enough fruit and vegetables? Can you plan a menu of what you might eat this week? Keep it healthy!

  2. Read a chapter in the book you are reading – find 3 unfamiliar words and then research their meaning on the internet. What is the opposite meaning of the word? Try using these words in a sentence with your family. How many times can you use those words throughout the rest of the day?

  3. Go on a bug hunt in your garden, what insects can you find? What do you notice about them?

  4. Year 4, don't forget to keep logging into your Bedrock accounts.

  5. Have a go this place value maths lesson from BBC bitesize. These are interactive lessons that can be accessed by phone, tablet or computer https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhnrcqtHome Learning with BBC Bitesize - KS2 Primary Maths for Year 4 - BBC Bitesize

Stay safe. Lots of love, Miss Todd, Mr Goulding, Mrs Booth and Miss Southall. XXXX
